Welcome back! Yes, I took a temp hiatus to recharge the brain cells and get fat off mom's cooking. However I come back to you of course with the hot new hip hop artist directly from Chi-Town. Who is this multi-talented man?
Who is Vessel?
This is the question buzzing throughout the world of Hip Hop. He earned the moniker "Vessel" because of his innate ability to deliver a message, acting as a conduit for a wide array of creative forces. Vessel’s clean-cut yet edgy image makes him ideal for marketing to just about any demographic. Vessel has been rapping and singing since the eighth grade. But his talent is capacious, the music deeper. Thick rhythms and militant downbeats fuse through Vessel's lyrical expedition deep into the vast well of societal ills, heavy with critique of materialism and destructive lifestyles.
Vessel founded Hidden Treasure Music, a title reflective of the concern for today’s youth that is the heartbeat that pulses through Vessel’s rhymes. An accomplished producer, songwriter, and artist, Vessel’s talent has landed him before thousands of spectators; both internationally (travels to India, Canada, and Korea) and right here in the United States.
“My artistry creates a platform from which I can influence a variety of people. The time I sacrifice in the classroom with young people is minimal compared to the number of idle hours they have throughout the week. It’s the least I can do to help even the odds of seeing them become positive members of our community.”

Did you also notice that he never once used foul language? Talk about being conscience of your art and its influences. This hip-hop philanthropists is also taking his message of conscience lyrics and giving back to his community.
Vessel is the next evolution in the hip hop game for 2011. His lyrical flow is hypnotic and conscience but he doesn't beat you death with a sermon. A new flavor to hip hop that breathes life into this genre that's more often about booty shaking and bling-bling than substance.
Inevitably he will be compared to Kanye West for they both hail from the same city. While critics will enjoy this pointless exercise, take point that Vessel is his own man coming up with his own sound and for once being original in his artistry. .
