Daniel "Judah" & Kenya "Redd Angel" Edwards
What happens when you combine two creative souls focused on the same goal? You get Daniel and Kenya Edwards. The powerhouse entertainment couple that is on the rise and taking root here in Atlanta, GA. They will soon be household names and I’m so blessed to know these humble individuals that have come from humble beginnings.
Kenya, “Redd Angel” Edwards, born in raised in Baltimore, MD started her journey in the modeling industry at the age of 15. Her photos have been in Honey and Hype Magazines to name a few. Gracing the runway with ease and grace in Maryland, DC, and New York, which eventually having her signed to Elite Model Management in 1993.
Ever the multi-faceted Renaissance woman, she promoted fashion venues and modeled for local clothing designers in the Baltimore-Washington area. Expanding her talents, she added actress to her list of titles in 2002 with her acting debut in several independent productions including HBO’s The Wire and Tom Cruise Minority Report.
Today Kenya is owner and operator of, Runway 101, an entertainment consulting group, providing public relations, marketing, production and media support services to up and coming and pre-established artist. She is a partner with Underworld Mix Radioand one-third host and executive producer for the Redd Angel Radio Show.
This multi-talented woman has written and produce several film productions entitled, Legacy Hill, Meet The Falks and Model Tendencies. Legacy Hill aired on URScene Internet TV to over 13million viewers world-wide for a brief time in 2007. Currently she is casting for her sitcom, Model Tendencies.
Standing beside her is her husband, Daniel “Judah” Edwards. He is a published author, label executive and owner of Versus Clothing. This New York native is true testament to what a positive mind can achieve against major odds.
Daniel was diagnosed with cancer eight years ago and basically was told that he had six months to live. A star athlete in high school and college he knew that he wasn’t ready for the final sentencing and turned to writing as a catharsis when he could no longer rely on his physical strength.
A strong, silent and proud man poured his emotions into his first published work, The Boys of SFP. He began to co-write and produce indie projects with his wife, Kenya. Living cancer free today, Daniel is now the proud owner of Random Cat Records with Kenya, working on his clothing line, Versus, and one-third host and executive producer of Redd Angel Radio.
Having met by fate on the set of The Wire, Daniel and Kenya took a leap of faith and joined together four years and haven’t looked back since. Forming Random Cat Records, they became managing partners of Black Box Inc. These dynamic duos are the yin and yang of synergy. Redd’s intensity and wicked smile combined with Judah’s quiet intellect and warm soul create a foundation where the impossible is sacrilegious and creativity reigns supreme.
