Sis Thomas' Church Announcements

(Note: Sister Thomas is 85yrs old and really doesn’t have any tact left in her body. You’ve been warned)

These are your Church Announcements:

Pastor is tired of telling of you members that aren’t delivered from smoking to stop smoking in fronts of the church before and after service. Several complaints have come that your ashes are burning the Deacon Board leisure suits, Big Lots Wigs of the Ushers and making Lil Mike-Mike’s asthma flare up. You can smoke in your car or in hell Pastor said but if he catches you smoking in front of the church he has a bullet with your name on it.

There has been rumors going around the church that the Building Fund has been paid off for years. Pastor said it’s a lie and stop looking at his new Infinity w/the cross shaped rims.

The Senior Choir will no longer do a Praise Break due in part that they weren’t waving and yelling in praise, several members broke their hips and lost their dentures during the shouting.

The Singles Retreat is cancelled until the EPT come back and the DNA results are showing whose the baby daddy of Precious, the Pastor’s daughter. Please tune in on Maury Povich for the results.

The Sunbeams Youth Choir are invited to sing at the Senior home this Saturday. If your child has ADD please sign the waiver for Sis. Thompson to administer butt whooping. Also, if you don’t pick up your demon seed exactly at 3pm we will call DFACS. Play with us and see what happens, ask Sister Ramona what happened last time.

Please pray for the sick and shut in….cause Pastor said he’s tired of visiting them and wish they die already.

With its '90s R&B moves and his braided hair vibe, LJ Ugarte's debut single, wore its old school on its sleeve. In the course of two singles, LJ has vaulted from wanting to re-create the mood of vintage soul to wanting to make his own combination of Maxwell and Eric Ben...et These two singles mark the return of the retro-soul movement that began taking shape several years ago. LJ is aiming to return soul to a headier, more opulent era. Some new Hip Hop and R&B artist revel in a sometimes brazen, sometimes vulgar fusion of hip-hop and old-school-soul pleading. LJ aspires to bring more candlelight, positivity, and sonic luxuriousness to modern R&B. I Believe In Love and Gambling Girl makes good on those intentions. LJ places his songs and malleable croon on a plush bed of lightly pulsating beats, wah-wah guitars, and caressing keyboards. A string section adds sensual accents; Latin inflections, like congas and the hint of salsa-fied horns, dart in and out. That said, you barely notice individual players.

 

 

 

 

What LJ has created is the sound of a large, muted soul orchestra, with the singer's buttery, falsetto-leaning throat serving as just another instrument. LJ is one to watch Luis John Ugarte was born January ,6 1981 in Brooklyn, New York. Captivated by the world of Art in Entertainment, from early in his life at the age of five Louis began singing and taking dance and acting classes . As his skill and talent developed over the years he fueled it by taking ballet. This lead to his admittance to Ballet Hispanical Dance Company, where as a student, he was able to master the art even more, enjoying every moment of it. During this time however, he embraced every opportunity to develop and diversify his love for art and entertainment. wonderful time for Luis after that his family moved him to west palm beach Florida in 1997 and he attend palm beach lakes high school and continue to study acting classes. while in high school he also continue dancing his senor year of high school he had the chance to perform for the Florida stage company in the production of Gun play.the next year he attend Keiser College and study computer graphic designing and imaging between college he was also working .in starting a music career following college hr began concentrating on his skills performing professionally at small venues with local artists at various nightclubs in the West Palm beach area he's is currently in the process of writing producing his own music with an eye toward success in the music industry and in addition to acting.

Dear Baby Jesus,

I woke up with str8 attitude Baby Jesus. How are you gonna bless Bro Jenkins tired behind with new fronts and rims? Now every time he sings a solo in church, he’s gonna be spittin on the First Lady. Then you had to make sure his 1972 Ford Fiesta had rims. Do you know how low budget that looks? Him strolling through Bankhead with rims that are going to be stolen the second he’s at a stop light. That’s why he runs every light and doesn’t pay the stops signs no never mind. So many pit bulls and squirrels have been run over by him already. I hope your Baby Heaven has room for all them animals he’s going to kill.

Dear Baby Jesus,
I want you to bind Sister Thomas’ breath in the Name of Baby Jesus. She whispered a hello to me during Bible Study last night and my eyelashes caught on fire. How can your whisper stank? I almost did an Ike Turner backhand on her, but I remember that wasn’t the time or place for that. So I waited for her outside of church, but she got hip and rode out with Bro Jenkins in his jalopy. Boy I wish you coulda side swiped them tires and flipped that car over and save me the trouble.
